The 14 files included in the present database provide with "in vivo" absorption cross-sections Eapig (m2/kg) of pure photosynthetic-pigment molecules. Eapig is therein tabulated every nanometer within the range of wavelength [350-950 nm]. This database and its usage are described in detail in the article "Calculation of radiative properties of photosynthetic micro-organisms" by J. DAUCHET et al., JQSRT 2015, which should be properly cited in any publication using the present supplementary material. The contents are the following : 1- Allophycocyanin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 2- Bacteriochlorophyll-a.txt : author's own data obtained with the strain Rhodospirillum rubrum, by extraction and "in vivo" correction. Considering spectra found in the literature for other bacteria, these results can be used with some confidence, by extension, for any strain of Rhodospirillaceae. 3- B-Phycoerythrin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 4- Chlorophyll-a.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302. These results, originally obtained within the range [400-750 nm], have been slightly modified, interpolated and extended over the range [350-400 nm and 750-950 nm] according to our own experiments and validations. 5- Chlorophyll-b.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302. These results, originally obtained within the range [400-750 nm], have been interpolated and extended over the range [350-400 nm and 750-950 nm] according to our own experiments and validations. 6- Chlorophyll-c.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302. These results, originally obtained within the range [400-750 nm], have been interpolated and extended over the range [350-400 nm and 750-950 nm] according to our own experiments and validations. 7- C-Phycocyanin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 8- Photoprotective-Carotenoids.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302, where the photoprotective-carotenoids pigment-mixture is defined. These results, originally obtained within the range [400-750 nm], have been slightly modified, interpolated and extended over the range [350-400 nm and 750-950 nm] according to our own experiments and validations. 9- Photosynthetic-Carotenoids.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302, where the photosynthetic-carotenoids pigment-mixture is defined. These results, originally obtained within the range [400-750 nm], have been slightly modified, interpolated and extended over the range [350-400 nm and 750-950 nm] according to our own experiments and validations. 10- Phycoerythrocyanin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 11- R-Phycocyanin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 12- R-Phycoerythrin.txt : author's own data obtained with purified pigments. 13- Total-Carotenoid-R-rubrum.txt : author's own data obtain with the strain Rhodospirillum rubrum, by extraction and "in vivo" correction. Results are likely specific to the strain. 14- Y-Phycoerythrin.txt : data from the article of Bidigare R.R., Ondrusek M.E., Morrow J.H. and Kiefer D.A. 1990. SPIE, vol 1302, pp: 290-302.
